Why you should work with me…

You can trust a Registered Dietitian!

A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist receives MUCH more than an online training and a certificate! They receive EXTENSIVE training that combines intensive academic preparation from a 4 year (usually state) institution with hands-on experience through a long, additional accredited internship program, as well as successfully passes a national registration exam. They also have to keep up with current evidence-based practices and continuing education credits in order to re-certify.

A Certified Diabetes Educator has to have over 1,000 on-on-one patient hours of counseling on the topic of diabetes; and also has to pass a national board exam.

What makes me unique:

What sets me aside from other dietitians in this field is that I have been a patient on both ends of the weight spectrum, as an obese individual and also as a malnourished patient, and at both times, dealt with various levels of emotional stress and disordered eating behaviors.

This provides un-teachable skills and priceless experience to help my clients. When I combine my wisdom from my own past with the clinical knowledge and training I received in various areas of nutrition, I become confident in my abilities and excited to help people transform their lives.
